Next week Oxjam Clapham will bring it’s big variety fundraiser, The Tavern’s Got Talent to the legendary Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
The show first took place at the RVT in 2011 and after a hiatus returned in 2014, since securing an annual spot in the venue’s calendar. Whilst the show rides with a slightly competitive edge, it’s focus is on entertainment, community and raising money for Oxfam. Past winners are Voodoo Mick, Doctor Woof, Jenny B Side and TVTV. Last year’s winner TVTV aka Roland Saunders, will be making a special performance at the event this year.
A record 8 contestants will do their thing to win the hearts of judges Simon Le Vans, Topsie Redfern and Stewart Who? who will select their favourite 3 performances to perform again, leaving the RVT audience to crown the 2017 winner in a ballot vote.
The show hosted by Mzz Kimberley promises magic, dance, comedy, drag and an impressive range of music genres with DJ’s Howard Turner and Rob C keeping everyone dancing before and after the show.
Advance tickets are on sale for £6 from the Royal Vauxhall Tavern website or £10 on the door.
All ticket sales go to Oxjam Clapham for Oxfam GB.
