About Oxjam

Oxjam Music Festival is Oxfam’ national music event which take place in town’s high streets every October. This year 36 events are taking place across the country. The money raised by by each town goes straight to Oxfam.

Oxfam is a global movement of millions of people who share the belief that, in a world rich in resources, poverty isn’t inevitable. Since the Festival’s inception more than 60,000 musicians have played to an audience of 1.5 million people, raising £2.8 million to support Oxfam’s vital work.

By supporting Oxjam then, you are also supporting your community and your local independent music venues, you’re providing a platform for up and coming musical talent and you are raising money to fight poverty worldwide. You can find out more about how Oxfam works and the good causes your support will go to here.

This year marks the fifth year that the current Oxjam Clapham team have been organising their event and you can expect the Oxjam Clapham Takeover to  boast once again the very best in local and up and coming talents on display for a wonderful day of great music, great people and great fun in Clapham.
